(1888PressRelease) Fast-Growing Fast-Casual Franchise Wins Two Creative Marketing Awards for Burrito Bliss Campaign.

"
LAS VEGAS " “Welcome to Burrito Heaven” was the irreverent, inviting slogan that drove the Burrito Bliss marketing campaign launched by Ori’Zaba’s Scratch Mexican Grill for this year’s National Burrito Day. In addition to supporting their fast-casual Mexican restaurant locations, vastly exceeding sales expectations during the promotion, the campaign was also recognized with two prestigious awards.

Developed in partnership with North Carolina-based Rivers Agency, Ori’Zaba’s Burrito Bliss campaign earned a Gold Award from the Hermes Creative Awards. With more than 6,500 entries this year, Ori’Zaba’s won gold in the strategic campaigns category of the Hermes Creative Awards which highlight the work of creative professionals worldwide.

“We provide strong marketing support to our locations and it is an honor to receive worldwide recognition for our efforts,” explained Ori’Zaba’s President Jennifer Howell. “As we continue to grow, our franchisees can look forward to our ever-evolving creative marketing campaigns that help drive sales.”

Next, the judges at The Communicator Awards took notice of Ori’Zaba’s campaign. The competition has been held annually for nearly three decades to spotlight outstanding work in advertising, design, public relations and corporate communications, with this year’s competition attracting nearly 5,000 entries. The panel honored Ori’Zaba’s Digital Posters with an Award of Distinction in the competition’s in-store category for highlighting current promotions with engaging graphics and messaging.

Rivers Agency’s Chief Creative Officer Sarah Owens commented on the development of the campaign, “The quality at Ori’Zaba’s speaks for itself, so we know that most people who try it are converted. It was just a matter of getting that across to first-time customers. We started playing with this idea of a ‘burrito baptism’ and it took off within our team.”

The campaign resulted in a 101.5 percent sales increase for Ori’Zaba’s " over eight times higher than the initial goal of 12 percent.

As the advertising agency of record for Ori’Zaba’s, the Rivers team will continue creating best-in-class campaigns to help the client exceed its business goals and grow the brand.

“We’re a brand that likes to push the envelope and we’ve found a like-minded creative partner in Rivers Agency,” added Howell. “The talented team has captured our unique voice perfectly and created stunning visuals that are distinguishing our brand in our current markets and preparing us for future growth.”
