You

You

A Poem by Vasudha Jhingan

I find myself with you in a dream
Walking on the beach with
Our hands held together
The gentle wind , the orange sky
Down the ocean , walking
Listening to the sea hymns.
You suddenly dissapear , leaving me alone
It's like I have no gravity to fall onto.
I wake up and find you
Sleeping , silently , on my left
Like there is nothing to fear
But my fear to lose you remains
My heart still longs to hold you and love you
even if you are unaware
But I know , one day we'll not be in the same bed
And we will forget 'Us' and move away .

I wish this was a little lengthier, because you twisted and turned this so many times, that I just experienced an emotional rollercoaster. Which is not a bad thing. A little more detail about the feelings or how losing "them" would make you feel, seems to me that it would do this poem some justice

A lot of emotions in the poetry. Just watch you flow and connect each line. Thank you for sharing your words and your poetry.

You are welcome.
I think this started off well then lost it's way slightly then regained the thread/theme.
The feeling of fear of loss is well conveyed though.

Pleasure is mine
I felt this piece was honest and uncomplicated. What sweet desires, what tragic happenstance in comparison. I enjoyed the relaxed feel of your words :) Thank you for the pleasant read. I.I.
