Aquarius

Aquarius

A Poem by 1802000_

The cold feeling against my fingertips as her embodiment slip through my fingers

continued flowing as if its bearer was endless river; feeding my hunger.

There she is, my beautiful muse

my gentle reminder of love, the captain of this cruise.

She is often acquainted to the waves of the seas

A symphony made in the wind's gentle breeze.

She often wondered how she is always beneath the sky

her hands reaching further up, not reaching it, then wondering why.

Her sorrow brought forth extreme waves

to the sky she wishes to dominate.

I stood there watching the waves

unable to stop her because I am not brave.

My beautiful muse, my gentle reminder of love

oh my captain who can't reach above!

She quenched my thirst; the queen of my sea

But in the end, she is also the water that drowned me.
