Humiliation

Humiliation

A Poem by K.Hope
"

A short free verse poem describing embarrassment.

"
A buttery silence spreads across the room,
A giggle there, a snicker here,
You wish someone would break the heavy silence
Then you hear it loud and clear

Noisy laughter strikes you sharply in the face
You blush as fast as a fire
Shielding your face from your obnoxious comrades
Hiding seems to be the best choice
