A Cliché ComplaintA Poem by QuantumPlateShoneDo you ever feel this way?My creativity is snatched from me by prior competition. For the imagination of preceding persons, and currently presiding souls is overwhelming. The incapability of creating a piece that contains utter originality is frustrating, no. . .unfeasible. I am sure even a complaint such as this has already been claimed by a previous mind. Nothing is solely mine! They steal the very spark of thought from me, oh how jealous I am! Can I reap nothing from my pondering toils? Can I have no ingenuity, no source of pride? I would have to burn a hundred books to summon a single novel concept into this world. For anything I produce is inadequate. Cliché. © 2013 QuantumPlateShoneFeatured Review
