just in case. i wanted to right something that would make you smile, not glower

Dear Kiku,

In case you ever read my writing again.

I just wanted to leave a few memories

Remember the first time you spent the night at my house?

And how we three played just dance (Michael Jackson version)

And called each other the musketeers

Remember our huge pillow fight?

The night after john broke my heart

And we were still Finni and America

“I’m the hero!” “no your not!”

And how you let me cry on you after you figured it out?

Remember falling asleep on each other

Cheek to cheek?

Or making black roses with clay while you farmed

And I made more coffee

Going to crazy pins and ramming each other with bumper cars

Taking pictures at the mall?

How about that time

I made you and Neshie pancakes while you two slept?

Throwing bottles at trees in my woods.

And that time we stayed up all night watching Disney music videos.

Eating pizza rolls with each other

Video chatting all hours of the night?

Cuddling with Nesh and me on the trampoline after chad left.

All these memories are great ones

Don’t forget them now that we are no longer

It’s only too bad that we have drifted apart.

Love,

Finland
