A putdown, a cruelty

I know she doesn’t mean it

But it strikes down my wall of strength

All I want to do is go cry

This will all be out of her mind in a few seconds

But it stays in mine forever

You’re fat, you’re stupid, you’re slow

All these strike down my wall of confidence

So I can’t hear when she tells me
