i could write a poem

this is something i wrote a while ago but it conveys to now seeing i have somebody now.

I could write a poem about you.

If I really wanted to.

That way I could make clear

My vivid feelings for you.

 

I could tell you that you’re wonderful.

That you mean the world to me.

That if I had to go on without you

Only God knows where I’d be.

 

I could tell you sweet nothings

That you would hold so dear.

I could give you all my feelings

Whisper them in your ear. 

 

I could tell you who I am

And who I hope to be.

But if I told you all these things 

Would you still love me?
