So close but so far

This is a sort of rant about how much I miss him and want to make him happy but cannot physically do that when he is so far, and a computer screen is not enough

I hate it when the only way to talk to you is through a computer screen

Knowing that you are miles away

The worst is seeing how sad you are

How much you hurt inside

And the one thing that hurts you the most is me

Just looking at the computer screen with me on the other side

This doesn't help your loneliness

It does not help the distance

And most of all it doesn't help you stop missing me more and more

How much I hate that I cannot do anything to change that

How much I wish I could change it

To just be able to push through the screen 

Into your arms

Into your warm embrace

And let you know I am here

And I am here to stay

I will not go anywhere

Because I love you 

No distance can keep us apart

No matter how far

We will always be near
