A poem about my life and how I felt

Never thought life would get better
I was laughed at
Pushed around
Teased

I was the weird person people always made fun of

I was smart
Talented
But no one saw that
They saw with their ears
Not with their eyes

She is fat
Ugly
Not normal
Attention W***e

Was I really any of those things..

Or was I the girl who did good in school
Who played violin
Sang when no one was around
Who kept to myself because I didn't need a crowd

People need to stop
Look at what is really there
Don't base a body of a human being off of what others say
See for yourself and give it a chance
Look through the lies
