A Series of Unfrotunate Words

A Story by Luke

“If I had words i’d make a day for you i’d sing you a morning gold and true to last you for all time, bath your days deep in sunshine”

   -Babe

A mist has descended upon these days. It clouds all the beauty and casts out the the strugglers. A leaf falls to the ground as the early signs of fall; it is the most beautiful thing I will see today. Not the plastic faces or contact-colored eyes. Even the eyes that leave me all together I do not see. I make it my chore to see those. Just a place where the world stops and asks no questions. This tree has learned to love and learned to let go.

Come and find me in my home. Where i sleep and tell my stories. It is not here where the kids and all the kicks of the court prance. Not here where plastic lies and silver faces rule the day. I shall live in theses moments a shadow of a newly formed culture. My culture, where I shall not be ashamed. So come have at us; we are strong. We shall wait in my home for the better of my rivals. Here you shall do your worst and I shall do mine.

I wanna be wanna be wanna be wanna be wanna be wanna be pretty! To look presentable around others! More importantly sexy to say the least. But why? Is such a pursuit worth pursuing. Love is blind no? Then when siting down...suck in that gut! Lean forward! Chin up! Where will you be without these things? I would be me. Only me however. The human that dare do all that make him not a man. In the end however no one gives a s**t. I worry for no good reason. So I would like to settle on a pleasant truth. One that indirectly reflects positively upon myself. That I have found peace and lost it. Yet it still has existed. And this is a testament to even my nature. I am good enough.
