The House (3)

The House (3)

A Chapter by <3Lil.Bit(:
"

Twyla is shown "The House".

"

"You will love it, I swear. You are never going to want to leave!" Analie squealed as she pulled Twyla after her, Analie's hand wrapped tightly around her wrist. They moved quickly, Analie moving branches out of her way for them only to come back and hit Twyla. Ace bounded happily in front of them, only stopping to make sure they were right behind them. Analie moved another slightly bigger branch, which easily swung back at whacked Twyla in the face, leaving a bright red mark across it.

"Could you slow down?" She mumbled as she rubbed her pained face though Analie seemed not to hear her. They continued with the same pace with what felt like hours to her and Analie kept talking the whole time. When they began to slow and finally come to a stop, Analie turns around. A big smile is spread across her face, revealing perfect white teeth.

“Before I reveal it to you, you must answer a question.” She says, her eyes dark eyes shining brightly as the sunlight hit them. Twyla was bent over, trying to catch her breath so at her words she lifted her head. Her pale blue eyes were filled with annoyance, which also seemed to drip into her voice.

“Reveal what??” Twyla said, utterly exhausted as questions raced through her head and gave her a headache. Analie shook her head and rested her hands on her hips. She raised a finger to point accusingly at Twyla.

“Were you not listening?? Besides I’m the one to ask the questions. Do you know what your power it?” She asked, raising her voice slightly at the last question. She crossed her arms across her chest, tapping her finger on her arm as she waited for an answer. Twyla could resist the urge to laugh and fell into a giggle fit. Ace sat down beside Analie, his tail thumping on the ground happily.

Powers… as in like flying and x-ray vision?” She sat down, resting her head between her knees. Laughter kept coming and wouldn’t stop so soon she was struggling to catch her breath. When she looked back up at Analie, she instantly stopped laughing. Analie’s face hadn’t changed. She was dead serious. “Wait… your serious…”

“Yes I’m serious. See watch this. I have power of elements.” Analie says and turning to her left. She leaned down towards a flower. She touched the flower, its blue petals seeming to shiver under her touch. Then she moved her hand upwards and twirled her hand. With the movements of her hand the flower pulled its roots up and twirled underneath her hand.

“Holy s**t…” Twyla whispered as her eyes followed every movement of the flower. Analie stopped, putting the flower back into the ground and turned to the dew that lay upon some ferns to her right. She pulled her arms back, as if she continued to pull an invisible rope. The dew slowly lifted off on the ferns. Suddenly the water fell back onto the ferns and Analie cursed under her breath. Ace barked and turned towards the ferns, growling as if punishing them for not doing what Analie wanted. Analie turned back to Twyla, her cheeks red with embarrassment.

“I haven’t really gotten good with anything other then earth. I only found out my powers a couple days ago.” Analie said softly with a dismissing shrug. “Well I guess I should show you the house then.” With that, she turned and pushed the branches that had hidden her view previously. Twyla’s jaws dropped and she gasped. In front of her lay a huge concrete house. It had obviously been painted white to cover the dull gray color of the concrete.

It was at least three stories, not knowing if there were any floors underneath, with the rooftop open and fenced in. From where Twyla stood she could see a diving board, so there must be a pool up there. On the sides, there were balconies with glass doors leading to the rooms that were held inside. Analie laughed and grabbed Twyla’s wrist, pulling her towards the house with Ace bounding behind them.

When they reached the door, Analie opened it without having to use a key. Well of course you don’t need a key out here. There is no one to steal anything! Twyla thought with a roll of her eyes. As Twyla stepped through the door she let out another gasp. This floor was huge, the ceiling twice as tall as a regular ceiling. From it hung huge white chandeliers. The walls were a cream white. In this room it held what Twyla guessed was a living room or main room. There was a huge flat screen TV hanging on the wall. Under that was a huge stereo system along with a different assort of game systems. A little off to the side was a white leather loveseat. Across the loveseat was a very large sofa with, it being white leather also. The sofa was on of those that you would fit into a corner because of its middle. Instead it created a corner like barrier. Next to that were three recliners, two black on the outside and one white between them. These, unlike the rest of the furniture, weren’t leather. They were fluffy and looked very soft. Twyla walked over to the black recliner on the left, putting her hand on the top of it. Yep, they are definitely very soft. She thought to herself with a smile.

“Come look at the kitchen Twyla.” Analie called from her left. She turned to her left and walked through the open doorway. This room was just as amazing. The counter tops were white marble. It wrapped around the room, coming out into the middle of the kitchen almost like a bar with tall wooden stools. There was a huge white refrigerator with beautiful pine cabinets lining the whole room. There was also a double sink, two stoves separated by a space of the counter, a dishwasher, a garbage compactor and a cappuccino machine.

“You were right Analie, I love it.” Twyla said breathlessly as she gazed at the kitchen. Analie smiled and beckoned her back into the main room. They crossed it, passing a huge set of stairs and coming to yet another room. Within this room there was two sets of double washers along with a matching set of dryers. Across from those was a huge table she assumed was for folding the clothes.

“You can already tell that this is the laundry room.” Analie says with a roll of her eyes. Twyla followed her as she walked back into the living room. Analie started heading towards the stairs, beckoning for Twyla to follow her.

"Come on, we will go pick you out a room."

I love Analie's power, but I'm not saying that because I made her. xD LOL! I can't wait until the new chapter is posted. You made the house realistic, like a mansion in Beverly Hills. Wonderful write!!! :)

Analie's power is very interesting. I like the house; it's not too unrealistic for people trapped on an island. I mean, it's not the White House. Though I WOULD love to live in the White House when trapped on a deserted island. :3 This is going very well! I can't wait to read more of what you have in store for us! :D
