The kindest man in the world

The kindest man in the world

A Chapter by Ashley.M.E
"

I love you grandfather, so many stories so much to say...

"

He stands so tall heads above the rest

Strong, brave, and kind

He is unlike what you would expect

So huge, and seemed so strong

The kindest person with no evil in his soul

He stands for others and gives to the poor

Even through the hardships

Death, loss and kidnappings

He always had a smile on his face

His face in my mind can never be erased

You were lucky if you knew him

He never took a thing, always giving

What can I say?

He was a saint

And I love him

I was so lucky

To be born into his family

No one has a mean word to say

About the man who loved so much

Working all his life, he did not care how long

He wanted to best for his family

And even though not the richest

He accomplished more than enough

A musician and an artist

A shooter and a gutter

A mixture of a hunter and gentle man

He had all the characteristics that we see so little of

As a lover and a fighter he will pull through it all

Grandfather I love you

Now and forever, may you never be forgotten?

Like oh so many others

Not famous or rich

You beat them all

Because you had a heart

That beats so strong

You deserve to be remembered

You are more than a shooting star

Author's Note

Ashley.M.E
I wrote this remembering how little time we truly have and that some of the kindest people are not the people known in history, but those known in our hearts...
He lived through a my uncle hijacking and being killed... and so many other heart breaks and yet he always, always has a smile.

The strong and powerful people are needed in our life to set us on the proper road of life. Your description told of a good man who lived through terrible times and kept his hope. Thank you for the positive story. Thank you.

This is a very nice tribute piece Ashley. Check the few following places.

The kindess(kindest) man in he(the) world
Death, lose(loss) and kidnappings
His face in my mind can never be easiest --did you mean erased?
No one has a mean word to say --did you mean no one or not one?

Very heartfelt. This is a nice tribute to what a wise, kind man that time has made out of your grandfather and many of ours. I only hope to have half the patience of my late grandfather.

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed anything for you in awhile.

This is beautiful, Ashley. You describe this kind man exceptionally well. Hell, I even wanted to know this man while I was reading this. I would've loved to meet him. Your grandfather is a a great man. You don't find many people in this world like him. Excellent job on this piece. (:
