self-pity

self-pity

A Chapter by Ashley.M.E

I am there when you were down

And I was just pushed around

All my feelings set aside

Because of your petty pride

What does it matter, if you are not the best?

Why can you not be happy, being like all the rest?

No one gets you better,

However, I guess that never mattered

Since someone has what you want

Then what you truly want cannot be me

I try my best

To make you feel like you are the best

However, you cannot see the way I feel

I am so depressed

I am just a mess

Cause you do not care

If I’m feeling blue

All the matters to you

Is that I am there for you

Too bad, you do not see

All the pain inside of me

You only think you felt pain

Your may have more, but mine is still real

We all have are troubles,

Big and small

You cannot get on my case, because I have not felt your pain

I still have feelings, and I still can understand

I do not have to be in your shoes

To know you’ve seen bad things

Why can’t you just accept, that was aren’t so different

It does not even matter

Because you’re past can’t be rewritten

Am I the fool, because I am with you?

The one who can’t see others pain

Just because it’s doesn’t sting, as much as the past you keep reliving

Does not mean you need to live in self-pity

Great wisdom in this chapter.
"Just because it’s doesn’t sting, as much as the past you keep reliving
Doesn’t mean you need to live in self-pity"
A amazing chapter. A strong chapter . Pain and hurt are teachers for us. Make us wiser or more foolish. A excellent chapter.

A situation that feels familiar, and yet descriptive enough to make me feel as if I'm watching you in it. A few spelling errors but a good read.

Pride is the biggest killer of relationships and is the quickest way to loneliness... you right being the best is not important as long as you give your best.

looks like this was some pity party and you no longer wish to be a guest
cool expression
shows your willingness to be patient
but i also see the necessity for boundaries
empowering
