Wonder of a child

Wonder of a child

A Chapter by Ashley.M.E

The eyes of wonder

Searching the world

Seeing the ocean

Seeing the sky

They don’t know why

They don’t care to know

They just think

Amazing

So tall

So big

The world around them is

Just a speck they are

But they don’t care

They’re just beginning

Just discovering the world

Smiling and laughing

At everything

They love

They care

They feel the world

They wonder more

Then any of us can imagine

And usually they can’t tell us

What goes on

In a child’s mind

Fast movement, terrific style and vocab that can be relatable...this one is good. I really liked the patterns you created during the piece. The tone was innocent and fun, laughable and relatable. I applaud.

Really straight forward. I like it a lot. Not everything has to have such an abstract meaning. Nice free-form flow!

A perfect descrition of a child. We all start out so innocent then the world transforms us into who we are depending on our interpretations and events that transpire during life. Well done ashley.

Children truly are the greatest gifts we could receive, and in this piece you truly capture how wonderful they are with their purity and innosence. keep Writing.

I love the tender beauty and innocense of this poem, capturing that pure vision of a child... It is filled with wonder and joy at all that drifts and dances around. How I hope as writers we can all retain at least a glimmer of that world within us.. Wonderful write my new friend!

Ah, to be young and flex your wings for the first time.
I just saw your smiling face in a comment and thought I'd stop by.
Nice poem you have written Ashley, I would avoid repeating the first words... Seeing. They, So, etc. and add some punctuation. Dyslexia is a blessing my young poet friend, it is the evidence of a quick mind, don't ever forget that!

p.s. Just cut and paste ‘everything’ into a word processor, like I do, then the slow minded readers won’t ever get confused.

We need to always think like a child when we see the beauty of this Earth. I like this poem. The flow and your story is very good wisdom to hold on to. A outstanding poem.
