Outpouring

Outpouring

A Poem by Arthur Russell

My soul cries out in despair
There is not purity to convey my heart
The sea of love is muddied
How can this be life

The rose is wilting
And so my hope wilts within
A song I cannot bear to sing
Seems to be coming to my lips

Run away with me
Escape the jaws of life
Be free from all you fear
No-one could touch this

Beautiful words. So sad but so sweet. "Run away with me" I dream of that all the time. That my loved one just takes off into this world unknown so we can be whoever we want to be and do whatever we want to do. Great work. I am so glad I read this. Beautiful.
