Final GambleA Poem by 00ZERO
Her arms so open that night at the bar
Dancing, falling, while she watched me a fool Staring, hunting, and prowling from a far Her eyes left me not, then we broke our rule We kissed, we hugged, our hearts collided Our friends, they begged, we were listening not Seeing each other, we were blindsided Tangled again, we had, in our love knot Together we left, we started again We hope, this time neither of us let go Ran out, we have used all our mulligans Our hearts could not suffer another blow Two peas in a pod we're reflective of We both agree that it is truly love © 2016 00ZERO |
