is completion

a word

eye contact

encouragement

encouragement

that never came

heart poured out 

on canvass

regret

regret, no,

no regret

the enjoyment and memory

will live forever

forever is only one word

we will use

a lifetime of sharing passion

two hearts

beating to completion

and the cycle 

repeats
