Dear Father,

Dear Father,

A Poem by Jules
"

This is to my dad.

"
Dear Dad,
I'm sorry for everything,
You tell me you need me,
Saying you fight for me.
We are across the sea,
And the tears we flee.
The hate we shared,
and we acted like we really cared.
But it's just you now.
And it's just me.
We stay across the sea.
Hoping to see each other again.
You tell me you lost the war to have me,
And i can't bare to be in the heat.
Like a drunken man about to sober,
Realizing what I have done,
Broken the happiness in a man's life.
Just like butter to a knife...
I don't want it to be a war for me.
I want everything to be happy,
Just like it used to be.

This poem is so sad. I love it, it makes me feel like crying. Its like a woman at a funeral: gorgeous, but still so melancholy. Keep at it.
