My sun

My sun

A Poem by Jules
"

Another Old poem i did. ( I do not own the picture.)

"

The sunlight poured out of the sky with all its tear drops on your eye

Your beautiful skin shimmered and it was gold, and we weren’t so old

Well the sun it shines in through those beautiful eyes, it’s as bright as those skies

You are my one and only

I can see it while you sleep

Now I can say, I’ll never be lonely

I’ll even take my keep

You’re my sun

You’re my stars

I’ll race from Earth to Mars

I really like this. It has great emotion, but it's not overdone like some other poems I have read on the internet.

I especially like the second to the last two lines.

"You're my sun
You're my stars."

They're beautiful.
