Run for youA Poem by JulesAn old poem i wrote,My soggy feet drag close to the ground, The moist dirt touches my pale skin. I feel as if I am a big hound, I am fighting for a chance to win. I watch you leave and I hear a melody in my head, Pleading for this one chance to get you back Was it that one thing I said? You always said it was everything I had that lacked. I run for you, like I promised for you, I love you. My hands drip with my sweat Beads trickling down my skin Running for you, Like I promised too. Now you leave me behind, Like i was nothing at all. You used to be so kind, Now it's like there's a huge brick wall. © 2010 JulesAuthor's Note
