Smoke and Choke

Smoke and Choke

A Poem by Kristin Brecoe

Silky ribbons

Meet my face

Oh so gentle,

Kissing me,

Enveloping me,

Altering me,

Nurturing my worries

Dancing in spirals,

Callused hands grip,

Hot and trenchant,

Oh so butchering,

Killing me, him, her, and

Slowly everyone...

Very nice. It's SO descriptive, and it tells the TRUE story... The WHOLE, true story! Amazing. I love this piece. I know where you stand on this, and you know where I stand. You KNEW I'd love this one, didn't you?! lol

Awesome! It is a hard addiction to beat. Yes, it can bring a sense of relaxation to the mind and body, however, it can destroy it drastically, along with the others in the room. I think it's a great poem...with a great message as well.
