We aren't ready,
But we shall
Follow through if only
To keep trouble at bay.

 

Rejected kisses will linger,
A sharp stab to my heart,
Empty arms will fall,
A heartless hold on you.

 

Right now is not the time
To hold me tight
Because there is a barricade
Keeping us apart.

 

But I shall wait,
And so will you,
And hope that one day
To be really soon.

Yea, it is a wonderful poem. It is hard when ya have to step away from things so it could cool down a bit. Maybe it was for the best. But the main thing is that when ur not ready in something, people should always respect your wishes. And when it comes down to a relationship, it is very powerful. It's Real, and not a joking matter at all, and No person in it should be taken for granted or to be taken advantage of, either. And when ur not comfortable with something, u have the right to step up and say something about it. And that other person Should listen to you. This was very beautiful. It really made me think a lot here hehe. Great job, and great title!
