Into New Eyes

Into New Eyes

A Poem by Kristin Brecoe
"

something i thought of.

"

Into New Eyes

Eyes fall upon two,

Each of diversity,

Bewildering loves

To one girl's heart.

Body within arms

Tanned and familiar,

A comfort zone

For a creature of habit.

She's against

The body of one,

Looking onto

A second.

His eyes love

Passionately,

No one else

Can top it.

But can she

Finally let go,

And reach for

The Unexpected?

Feet grounded,

Head in the clouds,

Heart in the tides;

She's unsure.

Where should she be?

I really enjoyed reading this piece, and I'd have to say that the ending was perfect.

Really good stuff. I love it. How can one be SO sure of a feeling? Sometimes, it's scary. Very relatable (sp?) and very sweet. Another amazing one!!
