Two Strangers and Their Words

Two Strangers and Their Words

A Poem by Kristin Brecoe
"

just something i thought of after talking to a fellow poet online.

"

For many, many months,
The only glimpse of one another
Came from the secret words
Written by the hearts of two strangers.

Her soul carefully penned poems
Melodic in every line,
The boy so carefully read,
Absorbing every word so fine.

With her vivid words,
He drew the details of her face,
Marking carefully the beauty
That has left a trace.

A trace smeared across his heart,
A stain of passion
Enveloped by two strangers,
An embrace of diction.

I like it. I don't think it needs that much work, really. Maybe, like the last reviewer suggested, you might add a little something explaining what "might happen" in the future between these strangers. I like the intriguing nature of it... SO COMPELLING.

P.S. Tell me the real story? :P
