A Love Letter

A Love Letter

A Story by Kristin Brecoe
"

I was told to write a cliche love letter, so here it is. Please check all grammatical errors and the like. and then randomly picked a name to end it.

"

Oh Monti,

It has been forever since I've seen you, my darling. It has brought great amounts of tears to my eyes. I missed the way you lit up my world. Your sapphire blue eye sparkled brighter than the night sky, as you enveloped me with your keen understanding and open arms. You are truly an angel, one that has fortunately fallen from heaven, and landed sweetly in front of me.

I remember when a day came to its end, I would hop on and pour my heart and soul into you, learn a world of knowledge, and all that jazz. It was as beautiful as the day is long, those times we spent together. You complete me. You arouse the fire in my soul that burns only for you. It burns as red and as deep as you do when you turn a slight pink after a slight shove.

I sincerely apologize for not being there in your time of need. You see, my darling, I have been as sick as a dog. My nose ran like a little child from a monster. It was rather disturbing when it ran a mile a minute. I have been so exhausted from it! I wish I could sleep like a baby right now, but I felt that I owed you a letter of apology. I hope I have not left you with a broken heart. Know that I think of you all day and night. I never go a minute without thinking of you.

While lying on bed the past few nights I cried sweet tears over times we've spent together. You know, for example, when I signed on one night and started to whisper into your ears more than sweet nothings of my day. I told you about another man who has set butterflies in my stomach. You didn't betray me like I feared. You were all eyes and ears. I was in awe.

The bottom line is that I love you. I love you with every fiber of my being. You complete me in ways I can't express.

With the warmest regards,

Kathryn

That almost made me break. That was one of the sweetest things I've read although it kind of takes the romance out when you say that your nose ran like a child running from a monster. It was a good piece of literature to put in but also, it should be about someone running away from love because they're scared. That would make it more effectice. All in all, I loved this letter. It was sweeter than anything I've ever heard. Keep writing because you're very talented and gifted. It would also mean a lot to me if you reviewed some of my work. I'd like a great writers view on what I've written. I suggest the storys because they're my better piece of work and so are the chapters. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you and I really enjoyed reading this. It was fantastic!

Well, u are truly a romantic, hehe. Very well done. This actually reminded me of Beethoven's letter to his Immortal Beloved. And this was very clever, too ;) Great piece!
