Can't

Can't

A Poem by .mate.feed.kill.repeat.
"

Geometry homework

"

I can't concentrate.
My mind doesn't work, I can't do my homework.
I can't do this.
For the first time, I can't understand anything.
I can't do it.
I'm incapable.
I can't.
I'm struggling with (what used to be) my easiest class.
How is this happening?
I can't do it.
I can't.

That is a horrible, horrible feeling.

This poem really sums it up well, too, in my own experience. It's sort of like a wall comes up, and all that one really CAN say is "I can't do this, I don't know how to do this, I'm confused, this makes no sense." Ugh. Never a fun feeling. I especially like the line "I'm struggling with (what used to be) my easiest class", mostly because...I know the feeling.

It's amazing how much this poem made me feel like I was sitting in math class again, trying to make sense of what the teacher is saying.
