Breaking TeethA Poem by Alana ZombieThis is a freestyle poem I wrote when I was formerly dating a guy who I could just never figure out. I do believe this was during a fight we had, and by the sounds of it, probably.
Unweave Like a high tide, crash long the eyelids Red, like my begging Or not so much But to distill time, like kaleidoscope eyes Or to break away from the clock As it melts Dripping They’re not tears of sorrow Sorrow doesn’t subsist Trickling lone, it be And ponder up the will to show emotion? I doubt it comes from you yet For I see black, and I see white Colour is just a phase The truth lies in the monotone facts You Me We die a lot, but that’s alright Reincarnate, sweet bee Suck the nectar dry from a new flower Embrace what you’ve got ‘til the bud melts Will your web prosper? Maybe so, and for the likes of you, maybe But for I, lies a tongue, or a way, per say Drizzling Like honey from your mouth What do you crawl as? I must see you I must become you In mind, body, and blood I’ll fight for you, die for you, live for you I’ll spin into a loss of words and such But to cross amends with breaking teeth There will be only I, choke And die © 2008 Alana ZombieAuthor's Note
