A Poem by ~ Czarina Iris ~

The beauty of our Mother Earth

Forced into shadows, made to hide

Tell me now, what was her worth

When alone, in darkness, she died

Author's Note

~ Czarina Iris ~
Quick poem written in my writing class yesterday. We were given a piece of music to listen to (look for mood, atmosphere, etc...) and to write a small poem based on what we felt it was about. This is what I came up with.
Enjoy

wow… so sad… oh makes you really think about what we're doing to nature. Beautifully constructed and wonderful message.

A strong poem. I would use the words "Mother Earth" as the title. You said a lot of truth in this short poem. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
