Snow

This was an assignment for English. We finally started poetry *jumps up and down happily* If any more turn out, I'll post some more. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

 Gentle crystals falling

Diamonds from the sky

Till we softly hit the earth

Where, for now, we'll lie

 

We're here for a while

Then all too soon we're gone

Leaving all the others

To go forth and write their song

 

But fear not, my child

For soon we will be back

Simply wait for Autumn's glow

To slowly fade to black...

Author's Note

I'm not too thrilled with the outcome but it's the best I've done to date. I might upload my song later... like once I've got a tune for it. Till then, enjoy

Actually... it flows quite smoothly. I don't think it's bad at all. I think it's nice. Best you've done or not... thrillrd or not... doesn't really matter. It's short, it sounds nice, it flows smoothly and easily, it's well written. I kind of enjoyed it really. I'm gonna go read more of your stuff now. Good-bye. :) lol
