Eternity in a day

Eternity in a day

A Poem by -Insertnamehere-

sex is like a poem to me.

and maybe we don't see eye to eye.

I find the body like a map

and I find it like home.

beautiful and sensual, without even trying.

the curvature of the back,

the hills of the shoulders,

the fields of the stomach,

the roads of the arms.

and it takes me to a place beyond existence.

somewhere where we can see our souls connected

through philotic strings of blue.

I can see the map of your body

and trace my lips along it.

the lines of your jaw,

the flowers of your lips,

the skeletons of your hips,

the suns of your skin.

And all I want to do is read your body like a poem.

and then recite it back,

again

and again.

This is beautiful. I love this. "the lines of your jaw, the flowers of your lips, the skeleton of your hips, the suns of your skin. And all I want to do is read your body like a poem. and then recite it back, again and again." Loved that part so much.
