Smoking doctors.

Smoking doctors.

A Poem by -Insertnamehere-
"

I had a sudden burst of inspiration.

"
When I see a doctor smoking, it makes my lungs disintegrate.
When I see a doctor smoking, it makes me not trust them at all.
I forgot what the world was like till I drove past it.
I forgot what the world was like till I finally saw it.
And they'll say sorry, there's no vacancy for you,
While you huff and puff your disease.
And I see how ironic the world is, but you can't see it.
You say it flows by like a blur of images and words that make you think everything is okay.
But it's not okay.
When I see a doctor smoking, it makes me think what the hell the world's come to.
I don't say it, you don't say it, he doesn't say it, because they're just words and we're just people.
Your face, has grown so old young boy.
While you huff and puff your disease.
Stop dreaming up the world the way you think it should be.
Can't be mighty, can't be strong, when there's a doctor smoking outside
hospital doors,
While people are dying, crying, saying their goodbyes.
And I see how ironic the world is but you can't see it.
While you huff and puff your disease.
