loveliest

loveliest

A Poem by Alan Torres

Let me tell you a story.
About a girl I knew.
She was could change the weather.
She wasn't always the loveliest but I loved her.
She was up and down.
Smile and frown.
She kissed then cursed then cried then laughed.
She was unfair.
I was forgiving.
It worked.
She was the muse to my block.
The bullet to  my gun.
But she left too fast.
I was not ready.
