I've Paid To Watch And Listen

A poem we can all agree with

"

I’ve Paid To Watch And Listen

Sitting watching TV
the screen refreshes with delight
New film out soon
and I’m free Saturday night
A trip to the cinema
inform all my mates
The time to enjoy the newest films
Back row if your on dates

We all agree a time to meet
Brought our tickets
Sat on our seat
But then it happens
The loud ones arrive
Now my ultimate experience
They will deprive

The talking the whispering
The laughing we all hear
Its like a thousand cockroaches
Hissing in your ear

The hairs raise in anger
From my neck that is now tense
Why pay for a film and talk
This really makes no sense

I agree with the trailer
To turn off your phone
Feel they will ignore this
But I’m the unknown

So as I sit there waiting
The film finally begins
Cinema etiquette ignored
The first of their sins

Now the rustling starts
and then a sweet it thrown
Picking on the viewers
who turn up alone
But will I stand for this?
Your answer is no!
I get up and stand before them
Blocking my already ruined show

“So you want to talk?
Get outside and have your chat
All of us have paid to watch a film”
(I’m hoping they react)

“Sit down then it’s a free country”
The response I have discarded
“Why are you still here bruv are you retarded?”
I stare right through this leader
The most vulgar of the bunch
He raises to stare me out
Then connects my punch

An applaud surrounds me
My friends stand by my side
“now watch the film we all paid for”
the group will now abide

So when your next at the cinema
Try not to get upset
Because there are more people like me
And when justice is served
You will applaud I bet

you forgot to write about the little sods who sit in the seat behind and kick the back of the seat incessantly, or rest their foot on it and jiggle it for the next 2 hours. Those are the ones who always sit behind me. This is a cute write, one I can well relate to!

I really like this, 'cause there are always that group of people who try and wreck the cinema for everyone else... I was there were people like you around stopping them though :L
