The Sun's Spotlight is StolenA Poem by {K}Who took it? {Inspired by Moon Faker, by Poetic Justice}
"WHO took my spotlight?!" The Sun screamed,
his anger blazed, his eyes fiercely gleamed. The other stars gasped, not knowing what to say, "We do not know who took it away!" Venus, the hottest planet, giggled with glee, "I know who it is! But, it wasn't me!" All the planets confessed, not having a clue, all but one, the Sun's sister Moon. The Sun turned on her, his fiery eyes slits, "Where's my spotlight, sister? Did you take it?" The Moon blushed, turning a light but distinct red, then, coughing, she quietly said, "Yes, I took it, but do you know why? So I may brighten the night's black sky." The Sun looked at his beautiful sister, then grinned, and sweetly kissed her Laughing he said, his heart suddenly light, "You deserve to rule the night."
