Innocent Criminal

Innocent Criminal

A Poem by {K}
"

A bad person who did a good thing...

"
You hadn't done it, but because of your record,
you were blamed.
The handcuffs were strong, like you, but they
hadn't a heart.
You did.
Beneath that criminal, you were innocent.

The jurors were cold.
The recognized your face, but, being you, everyone did.
They all believed you guilty,
 because of the criminal.
Not the innocence beneath.

This is awesome. See people think when they hear of a sick sick crime commit that someone is automatically a criminal. I like this it's an interesting idea. Keep up the good work!
