I think I love you...

I think I love you...

A Poem by Samantha Heaton
"

Wrote this for ... her

"

I think I love you

But I just dont know

Its wierd for me

Since your a girl

                       My parents told me

                       They would'nt except me

If I started dating a girl

They said they'd kick me out

And never call me there baby girl.

I think i love you because

You always make me smile.

When I'm with you, Everything seems okay.

And No other person has made me feel this way.

                         We bond closer

                         With every conversation we have

                         And by getting closer

I'm starting to fall for you even more.

You are one of my bestfriends

And I think I love you

But I just dont know....

Okay, still dark as all your poems. A large hint of bi-curiosity and a blatant message from homophobic parents. Honestly there seemed like there could be some more depth in the situation. It feels like you are tentatively placing a toe on thick ice. Its better to walk tall and firmly even if you fall through the ice. This subject is still very controversial and if you can't have confidence in your writing then people are going to notice. I know most people don't want to be judge in a harsh way, but I'd rather be judged incorrectly and harshly than to say that I don't feel comfortable enough to put this out there.

Aww I love this..so many emotions comes to life during times like these. I'm 28 and my mom still hates the fact that I'm bi but I think that in time your parents won't be so hard on you. This is a great write...xx

how nice. Chase your love. Love knows no genders. If love is God's gift to us, then he obviously doesn't care if it is a same gender relationship. Tell her you like her. Good luck

This is a beautiful write.
I think you should go tell her, better be honest with yourself and others.
If your parents doesn't like it, f**k them, it's your life, you're the one who's living it.

Life is a big mystery my friend. But it doesn't matter what others say, its really about how you feel. Good poem. Very emotional.
