Why do you hate me?

Yes this is about my mother:/

Why do you tell your friends

That your a careing mother

When all you do at home

Is scream and hit me?

Is it because you think less of me

As your daughter

I know your friends found out

I was sent away to get help

And you hate that they no

Cause now you cant say

You have a perfect family

I'm sorry that I screwed up your life

It wont happen anymore

But you have to let me go

Live at another home

But you wont let me

Cause you love to abuse me!

You know what you do is wrong

So why dont you stop!?

I have called DCFS on your a*s

But refused to talk to them

When I was up,

I've lied for you

I've risked my life for you

But me cutting earse's all of that!

Who put you in a cold bath

When you were in the middle

Of an overdose! ME

Who decided to hide your pills

So you didnt black out at a friends house! ME

Who still loves you

Even tho you do nothing but hurt me? me..

Why do you hate me

When all i've ever done was love you...

What is "DCFS"? Your endings are stronger now and its triggering an emotional response. Your grammar's fine and you even had mistakes in your Author's Note. Try to proof read your poems before publishing them please.

A powerful and strong tale in this poem. People who are depressed and can't tell the truth from a lie. They do need help. The story is very sad in this poem.
