Sound of SilenceA Poem by *~WildFire~*Sound of Silence
Alone... No one to help. Betrayed... Helplessly screaming, Screaming her silence. Filling her lungs with desire... Desperateness... Loneliness.
She screams her silence, But does no one hear? Is it nothing but wasted breath Kept inside And never let loose?
Sitting in a stone-like room, Cold, And alone, Drowning in nothing but silent screeches, One after another.
Pain overwhelms her, Love slowly kills her. All is lost. Sounds of night are silenced By the sound of the blade Ripping her skin.
She cries her last tears, Tears of blood, Tears of love, After all, A heart is only two upside down tears.
Silent cries are made once again As her heart beats it's last beat Against the serrated knife Now one with her body.
There in her cold, stone-like room Lies her lifeless body Waiting for her love To cleanse her dried bloody tears And make them clear again. Just a crimson stain of regret Upon his shirt.
Silence does have a sound... Can you hear her? © 2020 *~WildFire~*Author's Note
