Liquid Emotion

Dull thoughts

drip through

from behind closed eyes.

To stop thinking

would buy me

a little time.

To stop breathing

would pause

this state of mind.

To start healing

would restore my pride.

. ah, well ... you said it ... and brilliantly at that ... this is an extremely poignant and poetic piece of writing ... i live in those "dull thoughts" ... and have been trying to escape them since a really long time now ... now i just accept them ... and wait for "my pride to be restored" ... patiently ...
