Up and Down the Way i Fall.A Poem by sivanGone with the wind on a breeze so calm not even a feather would stir, I sat and watched you leave without the faintest trace of tears. The structured words you uttered; clear and smoothly unfamiliar, A methodically planned goodbye; the timing quite perculiar. Untrue sentences formed through lips deceived by yearning eyes. I see you standing in the mirror looking into your own demise. Blinded momentarily by a thick haze of uncertainty You stumble at the feet of self induced pity. But rising so fast that no one might view- The moment you let life slip by you. © 2011 sivanFeatured Review
