DayDreamin' And I'm Thinkin' of YouA Poem by sivanI sit all day and think about her, I write love poems that I Never give to her like, Love is how beautiful she looked In her vest so black, Kneeling on my bedroom floor, Her dreads loose upon her back
I sit all day and look at the pictures we posed; I smile at the way she sometimes wrinkles her nose And love is how we Took a shower the other day And she Washed my hair for me.
I sit all day and wonder whether she'd like the way I wore my hair Or the pants that I'm wearing. I wonder too if she's looking so good that people are staring. And love is the way she lay on my chest when she was ill And she looked up at me and said "I must seem like such a big baby".
I sit all day and dream of a future with her Like if I get that job in Jozi would she Come along or would she prefer to stay And be close to her moms'. And if that were it I'd be down every weekend Cause' I can't stand To be away from her that long.
And love is the way she gets a kick out of Jimmi Hendrix And love is the way her dreads get in my mouth when we kiss And love is the way she kisses my forehead in bed And love is the way I can never stay mad.
Love is the way I cannot look in her eyes and lie. I sit all day and my dreams never dry Never looking at the passing of time... And Love Is how I'll love her till I die. © 2013 sivanReviews
