Why

This is about trying to renew an old love.

Why

 

Can you explain just what makes you think it’s alright?

To say the hateful things you do.

 

Is it that you’re not very bright?

Or is it just okay because it is you?

 

Hooray for you you’ve pushed me away,

I won’t live on broken promises one more day.

 

How do you think you would feel if I treated you like this?

Would you get over it like you expect me too?

 

Honestly would you not walk away with out a kiss?

You would probably beat me black and blue.

 

Though you swear you will never do that again I think you will in the end.

How do you expect me to believe your side?

 

I have no faith in you on which I can depend.

You still have me living on this roller coaster ride.

 

Broken dreams and promises that never last,

We are nearing the end and its coming fast.

 

I won’t be treated badly by you or anyone again.

That’s my final word so now you know,

 

What it takes to win this game so begin.

My love for you is what I try to show.

 

It will always be here in my heart.

Even if we always have to be apart.
