Tara Shannon

I started writing when I received a diary as a present for my seventh birthday. I have been writing since. I have a BA in English, with a certificate in Creative Writing. I got sucked into the corporate world after college and started working 80-90 hours a week. I didn't have the energy to do much writing.

In 1999, I became disabled. I have taken a few classes online at UCLA and at Gotham Writers' Workshop and received encouragement to publish my work. I have finally decided to go for it!
