Born In North Carolina...raised in South Carolina, I have spent my whole life writing and drawing. My 2 children, fortunately share that gift. My kids are my life and my friends are wonderful!! I write all sorts of things...poetry, short stories, children's books, journal-like writings, and have even started on a novel. I am married. I have 2 cats, and 3 dogs. I have published some poetry; and would love to be a published author, one day....and sell an actual book, with an actual story. I have many interests, including swimming, reading, gardening, tennis, volleyball, children's rights, educational issues, animal rights, economy, wrestling, and of course, writing and drawing (sketching). My children are now teenagers; and inspiring me everyday, to be the best mom and best person, I can be. They give me reasons, to never ever give up, on my dreams, and always believe in myself, and of course, them!!
My grandfather, from Pennsylvania, a distinguished, highly revered, Mr. Casler, inspired me, as he was also a writer. He wrote of things, I didn't know much about...mostly the railroad, steam-engines, the like...didn't matter that he wrote articles and had books published on these particular subjects. He came from the cold as ice, covered in snow place, and I loved to visit him.... I always loved listening to him talk, and tell me stories, walk with him through cemeteries. He was a very intelligent, funny man. He was someone I looked up to, and now, although he has passed on, I hope he knows, I am a writer, too!! I was proud of him...hopefully he is proud of me, too.
