For the first time in a very long time, I feel I have a purpose in the world...to love and create and draw back in wonder at the freedom that comes with accepting myself. I'm not exactly who I want to be, but I know what I need to do to change that, and I'm willing to follow through.

I'm twenty years old, and I know exactly what I want to do with my life, which is more than most people can say. I'm going to open my own inn where I will get to do everthing I love...sing, design, take care of people, etc etc. See my blog for details.

As far as life philosophies/religion/etc, here�s my take. Everyone lives, everyone dies. People have a right to believe what they want to believe, and I don�t believe I have any place to say they�re wrong. I live life according to my own rules, and those of God, as I am a Christian and have been all my life. I�m not the greatest or most devout, but I�m sincere. I think I can be a better version of myself in the future if I give everything to God again, and I'm trying to get back to that place. I'm a bit of a control freak, though, so it hasn't been easy.

I am lucky enough to have loved beyond measure more people than I ever thought I would.

I love music, gardenias and Casablanca lilies, twirling in the rain, cuddling, sleeping, singing, laughing, dancing, intelligent conversation, silliness, hugs, kisses, spontaneity, road trips, driving in general, sunrise, miniature dachshunds, my family, my friends, my puppy Liv, Ireland (all Europe is fabulous), interior design, art, museums, history, literature, philosophy, antique houses, humanity, compassionate people, charity, improv, film, photography , tennis, all the roommates I've had, choir, studying random subjects, city skylines, writing, shopping, fashion, guitars, antique stores, old movies, theme parks, travel, racquetball, pool, Dawson's Creek, Christmas, Biltmore, road trips, music stores, pancakes, FUN!!!

I never had a chance to not be completely immersed in the world of music. I play piano & have two guitars, both of which I can decently play now (and by decently, I mean I've got most of my chords down and I can learn strumming patterns pretty fast lol). I also have a bass, which seems to be the easiest thus far. Flute is the instrument I'm most advanced in, and I love playing in orchestra-type situations. My real love is singing though... always has been. I guess you could say music is one of my many passions�and perhaps the one that holds the most meaning for me.

Where writing is concerned, there really is nothing I can say that does it justice. It's been my vent, my therapy, my everything in hard times, just like music has. And while it's more of a private thing for me, sometimes I like to put it out there, risk criticism, and bare my soul to the world. Or at least Writer's Cafe. ;)

For fun, I'm willing to do most anything.
