About Me
I am a hard working stay at home mom, who is in college getting my second degree in Education. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, which is a national honor roll society who invites members based on academic achievement. I am obsessed with making the Dean's list every semester, and my GPA runs average at a 3.9. I have worked in the past as a Social Worker, and an accountant/office manager. I stopped working two years ago while pregnant with my youngest son. I have an older son who is autistic, and three step children. My husband and my children are my life...and I would sacrifice everything for any of them at any given moment.
I have lived the life of a 50 year old, and had many life experiences that have made me who I am today~some good, some bad. I have a positive attitude, I love life, laughter, and love. I believe that you should be the kind of friend you want people to be to you. I am honest, and blunt. "To the point " is one of my most admirable qualities~so I am told. ***My philosophy of questions is that don't ask a question of me that you may not want the answer to~if you ask for my opinion, I will give it honest and tactful~good or bad.***
I was diagnosed with Lupus last year, and it has been a struggle living in the day to day with the disease for which there is no cure, and watching it's hold...the hold that it has on my life.
I don't know what genre I should write in, as I am very open and idealistic in many different areas. I write poetry, stories from child stories to adult oriented. I guess I will choose as the idea is written.
My favorite quote: "And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." ~Abraham Lincoln
