My name is Dani and I'm 17. Ever since grade school, I've been writing. At first, I started with stupid little short stories, ones that never made sense, but then I began to grow. I began writing longer stories that meant more to me, multiple poems a day, and even began experimenting with songs. At this moment, I must have three of my own stories going, along with numerous fanfics. A while ago, I stopped writing poetry, but I am beginning to think that I want to start writing it again. Other than writing, I am an avid reader. Ever since 2005, I have been engrossed in the Twilight saga. The books just...bewitched me. I have never found a book series as amazing as Twilight, and I have probably read Twilight at least 50 times. Other than the Twilight saga, some of my favorite books include A Certain Slant of Light, Demon in My View, The Shining, the Harry Potter series, The Things They Carried, The Host, the Blue Bloods series, the Vampire Academy series, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Betwixt, The Hunger Games, and the Flowers in the Attic series. My favorite authors include Stephenie Meyer, Stephen King, V.C. Andrews, and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I listen to music any chance I get, and my top ten bands at the moment are: 1. Placebo, 2. Muse, 3. Nirvana, 4. The Used, 5. Paramore, 6. Secondhand Serenade, 7. The Mitch Hansen Band, 8. My Chemical Romance, and 10. Rob Pattinson. My top ten changes a lot, but some of those bands are always on it. I draw when I'm not writing or reading, and I feel that I have gotten much better in time. And, if you believe it, I fit all of this in with school. I am in my junior year of high school, and cannot wait to graduate and move on to college. At the moment, I want to become a Forensic Scientist, and that hasn't changed in many years. I am considering minoring in Creative Writing and Publishing, just for fun.
