Mary Torres

I'm going to High Point University in the fall, and majoring in English writing. I've wanted to be a writer since before I can remember, and certainly since before I was told that writing is not a real career, especially not creative writing, and that it could not pay the bills. I've been discouraged, but I wouldn't forgive myself if I never gave my dream a chance.
