I've written poetry since my teens. I am now 50+. I have changed my style over the years and I read my old poetry with some embarrassment - as I will in 10 years time when I read the poetry I write now (if I am alive to read it).
I am a bit of a recluse now and I am not used to people, so please allow me some time before I review/rate/add friends. I say this so as to not to appear rude to requests.

I would say the 3 major influences have been Keats (a minor role), Leonard Cohen (Suzanne) and Bukowski (not in style, just inspiration).

I would say, though, I have mostly influenced myself - over time.
